Here is the schematic diagram of our research. It shows several major steps and techniques we develop and implement to study proteins.
Our methods and tools based on the in vivo microscopy and mass spectrometry techniques greatly facilitate studying the dynamic changes of the proteins during the cell cycle or cell response. Each step of the iterative research scheme is an ongoing project to develop and optimize techniques and tools for extracting valuable information about the proteins and the protein complexes. We use budding yeast and human cells to explore how the dynamic changes in the cell are governed on the molecular level.
